Papalani Gelato features our own line of rare,

all-natural, artisan chocolates and other confections

from around the world.

We find pleasure in chocolate.

Papalani Gelato specializes in chocolates inspired by the flavors of the tropics. Like our gelato, there are unlimited flavor combinations available to us here in Hawaii. Each island has a developing chocolate growing industry. Most other chocolate growing regions are dominated by large corporate chocolate companies. Thus far, the industry in Hawaii is developing so that small companies are able to control the chocolate from bean to bar. That helps to provide a positive impact to the local economy as well as proving chocolate makers like us with access to chocolates with various flavor profiles allowing us to create products that are truly unique.

Living in Hawaii also provides is access to a wide range of fruits, nits, coffee, spices and other locally produced ingredients. We know the growers, where their farms are, and can work directly with them when developing new chocolates. This also insures all of our products (gelato as well) are made with fresh and pure ingredients.

We currently feature two lines of chocolates. One line, our signature line, is made from 100% pure Hawaiian Grown Chocolate. We use chocolate grown on the Big Island and on Kauai. The chocolate grown on our island, Kauai, is very rare as the level of production is very tiny compared to most other chocolate growing regions. We are pert of a group of small business supporting the development of this industry on our island.

We also make our own special blend of French and Belgian chocolate. These creations are made using some of the best chocolate produced in the world. We combine three different chocolates to make our own unique blend. You will not find a chocolate like ours anywhere else since our blend is unique to us.

Papalani Gelato’s confections make ideal party favors or gifts for your upcoming special event or occasion, from Hawaiian weddings, parties, showers, conventions and more. Our chocolate boxes are an all-time favorite gift for party guests and clients.
